Mojave quake felt in Arizona



Last night's magnitude 5.1 earthquake west of Ludlow California [right, map from USGS] was felt in parts of western Arizona but there are no reports of damage. The moderate event occurred at 9:18 pm (MST) at a depth of about 4 miles (6 km).

The seismogram recording of the quake below is from USArray station Y12C in Arizona, near the Calif. border.
